We are back home after a whirlwind weekend in Illinois. It was fun to see family and friends, but there was obviously a sad undertone to the entire weekend. Here are a lot of fun pictures from our weekend. Can you say spoiled? Thanks, Grammy, for the fun, new toys!
Grandpa Tom is still hanging on. Grandma, Grandpa Tom, and his family are trying to make decisions about what would be best for him overall. Grandpa Tom would like to be able to go home, but no final plans have been set in place (to the best of my knowledge). Please keep praying for comfort and peace during this difficult time.
My week will continue to be a little crazy. I am going to Val's on Wednesday. We will do work in her classroom and get a pedicure (annual traditions). The kids are going to stay with my mom and dad overnight again --THANKS!!! Saturday is my Dad's 60th birthday. The whole family (minus Lily and Wyatt) will be going kayaking -- this will be a new experience for me, but I am told it will be fun.

sending lots of love and good thoughts to Ryan's parents, how hard this must be for everyone.
how wonderful that your parents can take the kids for you, so important for you to have some time for you. my kids don't sleep well yet so I can't hand them off to anyone yet. lol.
A very happy birthday to your dad, 60, that's great!! have fun.
I'm glad we got to see your family! Thanks for making time with us. I think I will have to talk my mom and dad into buying Daniel a kitchen now. :)
We were wondering if your carseat came with the cupholder or did you buy that as an "add on" at the store?
Please update the blog when you hear about Tom. We are praying for him.
Oh yeah, thanks for putting up a few pics of Daniel too! :)
Stef, the carseats came with the cupholders, although I am sure there is someone who sells them separately.
Looking forward to you coming out tomorrow. I think it will be good for the both of us to "get away".
I smile now, thinking of Ryan and my dad preparing to welcome Tom home. Oh, how we miss them!!!!
With tears....
Praying for Tom and you guys.
Have a great time kayaking. I have never been but hear it's lots of fun.
lol... Ayla and Elijah have the SAME kitchen. Ayla is ALWAYS offering a nice cup of coffee to me. :-)
So sorry to hear about Ryan's Grandpa. We will keep the family in our prayers.
What cute pictures of the kiddos and including my nephew, too! My family was glad they got to see you. Wish I could have too!
