It has been one year since my dear friend Valerie's life was turned upside-down. It was one year ago today that her dad was welcomed into heaven very unexpectedly. It has been one year since the beginning of Val's grief journey. My heart hurts for her and her family today.
Val has amazing faith in our loving, heavenly Father. She has walked this path of grief with faith beyond measure. She has endured a difficult, trying year with great strength. Val's faith has been a terrific example to me: she has taught me how to desire God more; she has taught me to love God more.
I am thankful for my friend who is a testimony to God's faithfulness even in grief!

I am so glad that you have such a wonderful friend as Val. And you too, are a wonderful for her, I am sure! I am praying for you both as you grieve. May God fill your heart with hope, comfort and joy!!
