...when your 3 year old son asks if Jesus will let Daddy come back from heaven to live with us at our new house? ...when that same 3 year old son asks why Daddy had to go to heaven from the hospital?

I have NO idea but I'm sure whatever you said was PERFECT. I am SOO SOO Sorry Kristin!! Your kids are so beautiful and they will know a great God and Saving Jesus because of their mommy!
I've been there. I had to be honest and say that I don't understand either... and hold them. I have found that children just want honesty. It's ok to not know the answers all the time. I constantly pray for healing with God's truth. I'm so grateful that your children continue to talk about their daddy... that's so healthy.
Aspen often asks similar questions about Liberty being in Heaven - I never have the "right" answer for her..I hold her, hug her and we take some time to remember her baby sister and think about how wonderful it will be when we join her in Heaven. Then I wait for the next question to arise..In a way it is heartbreaking because we don't have the answers - but on the other hand its so warm and wonderful to know they are thinking about the one we miss so very much.
Hugs to you sweetie.
I know these types of questions are never easy - especially since we have so many of the same questions ourselves. Lifting you and your little blessings up in prayer for sure!!

That just breaks my heart. Especially with his one year Journey Home anniversary coming up so soon.

Oh from the mouths of babes..
So sweet.
So innocent.
So filled with love.
And yet so heartbreaking...
