20 Days of Gratitude

My friend, Kristen, was inspired by a friend to have 20 days of gratitude leading up to Thanksgiving. I thought it was a great idea, so I am going to follow suit. I will have to catch up because I should have started on Friday.

Here it goes:

Day 1 (Friday):
I am thankful for the wonderful friends and family that I have in Illinois! It was so good to be able to catch up and laugh about "the good ole days". I am thankful for the hugs of a faithful prayer warrior!

Day 2 (Saturday):
I am thankful for a new nephew who is a precious gift from God! It is wonderful to see a new little life.

I am thankful for God's protection in traveling on rain slicked roads while extremely tired. I am thankful for my parents and my sister (and family) being willing to sacrifice so that I can have moments of joy.

Day 3 (Sunday):
I am thankful for a church filled with loving people. I am thankful for a church that preaches the word of God. I am thankful for the HOPE that God's word gives to me even in the darkest times. I am thankful for songs of praise to our loving, heavenly Father!

What a great idea! Would love to commit to that as well, but have a hard enough time updating my blog once a month lately! Look forward to reading about your thankful heart!
