I just wanted to let everyone know that Ryan is officially back on the transplant list. There is of course no time frame for when the right lungs will become available. It is now a waiting game. It is important that Ryan maintain his strength and continue with his physical therapy. Dr. Ojo wants Ryan to be on the trach mask for 10 hours and on the vent for 14 hours. This will allow him to rest his lungs and keep up his strength for building endurance rather than just focus on breathing.
Please continue to pray for our strength. Please also pray for Ryan to remain healthy and be able to stay on the list. Please pray for the donor and his/her family.
Also, last night I switched my housing again. I am now blessed to be able to stay with a retired couple from Ann Arbor CRC. They live about 15 minutes from the hospital. I have my own room and bathroom. They are a very sweet and generous couple to open their house to me. Please also pray for me as I have not been feeling that well today. I am hoping that it goes away with a good night of sleep.
