Nothing New

There is not much new to report. Ryan's oxygen level has remained at 75% for the past few days and his PEEP is at 12.0. The doctors seem okay with this as long as he keeps moving. Each day he has been able to walk further, so we are both encouraged by that. They are continuing to give him at least one dose of Lasix each day to help get the excess fluid off, and that seems to be helping his oxygen levels improve or at least remain stable.

We were able to get outside today. Ryan had to go on the laptop vent, but we had great RT's and nurse who were willing to help us have a change of scenery. Thanks, Kate, Rose, and Roxanne!

Please continue to pray for Ryan's strength and energy. Specifically pray that he is able to keep walking each day. Please also continue with your prayers for new lungs!
