I just wanted to let everyone know that things are going much better! Ryan is back down to 45% oxygen and feeling pretty good. We think that we only have a few more days until he gets relisted, but we don't know for sure. He has still not used the trach mask since last week, but the doctors are not pushing that as much as they were before -- they keep telling us "we know he needs new lungs".

Dr. Sisson is no longer our attending doctor, now it is Dr. Gay. He seems to be a very fun guy; he is also a consulting transplant doctor, so we will get to know him more after transplant too.

We are enjoying time with family and friends this weekend. Ryan's dad has been here since yesterday. My parents, Ryan's uncle, and Ryan's boss and his wife have all been here today. My parents will be heading back tomorrow and Lily and Wyatt will go back to staying with them. The kids have done great while my parents have been gone, although Wyatt did not want to talk to me on the phone before tonight :(

Thanks for your continued prayers and concern. Please pray that Ryan will be able to be relisted soon and then receive his new lungs quickly. Please continue to be in prayer for the donor family as well.
