Ryan had an okay day today. He started running a low grade fever last night, but has not had much of a fever since then. The pulmonary team is great! Dr. White is willing to sit and explain things and that helps both Ryan and I feel much more comfortable. Dr. Ojo (transplant) came and saw Ryan today too. She assured Ryan that she is the one making the decisions for Ryan's care which is what we want. She is confident that Ryan will be able to have the heart cath done before he comes home sometime next week. She told Ryan that she has been very busy -- they have done 2 CF lung transplants in the last 10 days!
The move is scheduled for 8:30 tomorrow morning. There will be all new carpet throughout the house -- yeah! I am relieved to know that Ryan won't be alone all weekend, his mom is traveling to U of M to spend the weekend with him so that I could be here without feeling too guilty. Please pray that she has safe travel, it is a 5 hour drive.
FYI: Our phone number will be the same at the new house, but it won't be transfered until March 24 --ahhh. The same is true of our Internet, so blog updates will be more limited over the next week. I will try and get to my mom's to give regular updates. If you want to get ahold of us by phone, call Ryan on MY cell phone and call me on HIS cell phone. (It's a long story :))
These aren't the best pictures of Wyatt and Lily, but they are enjoying their 1st Peeps!
Wyatt was "sitting" on my mom's legs tonight like they were a chair. I think she was actually holding him up, but he had his little knees bent and he thought that he was so cute. He has on his new dino pj's that he LOVES!
