Sunny Day...

Today is such a beautiful day! The sun is shining and that always helps boost my spirits. Ryan's day has been rather low key to this point. He did not use the trach mask yet today, but he has been doing pressure support for most of the morning! He has napped a lot today too because his night was a little less restful. The took out his arterial line that they were using to measure blood gases which is another step in the right direction. He continues to do really well on 40% oxygen.

God has provided another blessing to me. I was made aware of a transplant house. It is housing for patients and families as they deal with transplant issues. The cost is much cheaper than the hotel and it will allow me to have groceries, do laundry and cook. It is very near to the hospital so I could walk if I wanted too. I am very thankful for this gift! Hopefully it is a place that I will feel comfortable staying.

Please pray today for Ryan's continued strength and well being. He seems to be less anxious today which is a HUGE blessing. Pray also for our care givers. There seems to be a little tension today and that makes things more difficult.
