Yesterday was a good day. I got to hug and kiss my babies as well as see lots of other family! The kids are so funny and they seem to be growing up so quickly. I must confess that I have not taken a single picture of them this weekend...too busy playing :)

Ryan had a good day yesterday. It started out a little rough, but after a good nap in the morning he was able to do his trach mask for 2 hours! He then moved over to the chair and sat there for 3 hours.

This morning he was very motivated to get started on his 3 hours of trach mask (Dr. Hyzy's goal for today). He wanted to do it from the chair, but after a brief trial with way too much activity he went back into his bed and back onto the vent. He is resting now and hoping to try for his 3 hours later. That is good, it will give us something to work on when everyone else leaves.

Please pray for safe travel for Ryan's dad and my parents and kids as they go home today. Pray for strength for Ryan and I as we continue to walk this ICU journey together! Thanks for all the support you have all given!
