Today has been another day of progress. Ryan has done some pressure support on the vent as well as 1 hour on the trach mask (Dr. Hyzy wanted to let Ryan get better at doing the hour before increasing too much...he doesn't want Ryan to go backwards because they are pushing too hard).

Here are some pictures of the Transplant House for those of you interested in seeing where I am staying (I have been asked by a couple of people). Just click on the picture and you will be able to see different views of the house with captions.

Ryan's Transplant

We love having visitors, but I need to make sure that too many people are not coming at once. Please let me know if you are thinking about coming so that I can let you know if there are too many people scheduled to come at any one time. Ryan's rehabilitation is very tiring for him and he needs to nap throughout the day when he is not working. Ryan is such a social person that he would want to be awake and be able to entertain who ever is here. Please do not take this as us saying "don't visit". Visitors are encouraging to both Ryan and myself; in fact, I would load up all of the waiting rooms with our family and friends if I could! I just need to make sure that Ryan is getting the best of both things: visitors and rest.

Kristin and Ryan, you are each such an inspiration to me. I LOVE your faith in God's healing hand and provision for your lives. I'm at a point in life where things are not great, but coming to this blog daily provides me with the strength I need for another day...thank you for opening your lives to us and being the vessel to draw me back to the Lord daily. In the words of Harvest, YOU ARE LOVED! Praise God for His amazing work in you and through you. Much love to you, Jaimee
