We had the first snow fall of the winter yesterday and it has brought a new joy to our lives! Lily and Wyatt are enjoying playing in it and I am enjoying the fact that they are old enough to go out and play in it by themselves! :) Enjoy the pictures and the video!

The Weekend

I think this might be one of the first times in my life that I am glad it is Monday. We had a long weekend with a lot of snow and two kiddos not feeling so well. I am happy to report that both kids slept all night last night and they are just beginning to stir at 8:20 am! :)

The Last Few Days...

We have gotten so much snow here in the last 5 days. We haven't gone out much because the weather has been so bad and "they" have been asking people to stay off the roads. We even had a snow day from church on Sunday. We are starting to get a little stir-crazy, but we have found things to occupy our time.

Lily got a hair cut, made a smiley face out of fruit magnets (Wyatt wanted her to stop saying "cheese"), and had to be a shepherd like her brother:

I have tried my hand at making truffles and peppermint patties (not sure why the truffles have become "spotted"):
